Dr. Nadia Hamouda graduated with honors from Cairo University, School of Dentistry, Cairo, Egypt in 1983. She obtained her Masters and Ph.D. in Oral Diagnosis and Radiology. She also served as a dental faculty member of her own Alma Mater for 10 years.
After moving to the United States in 1994, Dr. Hamouda volunteered at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She then attended The University of Michigan School of Dentistry Internationally Trained Dentist Program (ITDP) and graduated with honors in 2000. During her studies at the University of Michigan, she received the Grand Prize Award for her research work in the Student Research Fellowship Program and the Comprehensive Care Award for Outstanding Accomplishments in the Patient Care Program.
Since 1984, Dr. Hamouda has been practicing general dentistry with special emphasis on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dedicated to staying current and proficient with the cutting edge of technology in dentistry, she completed advanced courses in esthetic and restorative dentistry emphasizing the use of natural-looking materials. She focuses her attention to artistic details which ensures that her patient' smiles are healthy and functional, as well as beautiful. She takes great pride in providing the best for your healthy, beautiful smile.
Dr. Hamouda is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Washtenaw Dental District Society. During her spare time, she loves to paint, go sailing and travel with her husband and two daughters.
Carol Brandt, R.D.H., B.S.
Carol graduated with honors from the dental hygiene program at the University of Michigan after first attending Andrews University where she also received a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. Carol places a special emphasis on providing her hygienic services with "TLC" and gently responding to the individual needs and preferences of every patient that is why she has sought additional training and is fully certified in administering both Nitrous-Oxide Inhalation Sedation and Localized Anesthesia. Her advanced experience in these areas allows her to provide quality oral health care while maintaining each patient's comfort during treatment. Carol is frequently attending continuing education courses to keep her knowledge and skills current.
Madison Motzell, RDH
Madison graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys providing a fun and comfortable atmosphere for her patients with a gentle touch. Madison also advances her education by participating in continuing education courses.
Marie Alston, RDH
Marie earned her BS in Dental Hygiene cum laude from the University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine where she was a recipient of the ADHA Institute for Oral Health scholarship. She is committed to patient comfort and is certified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia in both Michigan and Colorado. Marie takes great pride in listening to her patients and understanding their needs. She loves helping patients achieve healthy smiles by educating them to improve their homecare practices. Ever the perfectionist, Marie stays abreast of new dental developments by reading professional dental magazines on her own and through formal continuing education courses. In her free time, Marie enjoys cooking and riding her motorcycle
Lindsey, Dental Assistant
Lindsey, a Pinckney native, graduated from Pinckney High School and has enjoyed assisting Dr. Hamouda for five years. Lindsey’s caring attitude is always evident to her patients, and they enjoy her emphasis on maintaining their constant comfort. She finds her position as dental assistant very rewarding, and loves to see the healthy smiles of those patients coming to and from the office. By adhering to the office philosophy of always staying current with knowledge of the newest and most advanced techniques, Lindsey frequently attends continuing education courses.
Mindy, Patient Financial Coordinator
Mindy understands the needs of each and every individual patient and treats them as she would a member of her own family. It is important to her that every new patient feels at ease and comfortable in our office. Mindy frequently attends continuing education courses to enhance her knowledge of dentistry.
Rebecca, PracticeCoordinator
We would like to welcome Rebecca to our office as our new practice coordinator. Rebecca started her career by graduating with honors as a Medical Assistant but recently discovered the wonderful world of dentistry. She greets everyone into the office with a warm, friendly smile full of compassion and care. She understands your time is valuable and will do her best to accommodate your scheduling needs.
